How to Earn Continuing Education Credits (CEC): Activities and Credit Values

Earn Continuing Education Credits (CEC) to extend F5 Certifications through the following activities. 

Training:

• ILT courses - 1.5 credits per hour
• SDT Courses - 1 credit per hour

Coming soon:

• Webinars - 1 credit per hour

Exam Development:

• Item writing - 6 credits per approved item
• Item reviewing - .5 credits per approved item
• Item review & revise - 1 credit per approved item
• Blueprint Survey - 1 credit
• TDD/JTA (new) - 8 credits
• TDD/JTA (refresh) - 5 credits
• Domain analysis - 8 credits
• Standard Setting - 6 credits

Note: CEC can be used to extend an active F5 Certification for one year, for a maximum of three times. After the third extension, a certification can only be renewed by passing the appropriate certification exam.
