Resources for BIG-IP Exam Preparation

In addition to practical, hands on experience with F5 products, the following resources can be useful to prepare for F5 Certified exams:

1. Exam blueprints provide an outline of the topics and objectives covered in each exam. (https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K29900360);
2. F5 Accelerators are a series of self-directed training courses bundled together to align with Certified Administrator exams:
   • F5 Certified! BIG-IP Administrator Accelerator
   • F5 Certified! NGINX Exam Accelerator
3. Many free training resources are available on the Education Services Portal (Filter the list of training by cost - Free Training);
4. Operations Guides are available on AskF5.com for specific topics: https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K73819494 (select the appropriate guide at the bottom of the article).
   • Exams F5CAB1/F5CAB2/F5CAB3/F5CAB4/F5CAB5 & 201: TMOS Operations Guide;

   • Exam 303: BIG-IP ASM Operations Guide;

5. For general networking knowledge, there are numerous resources available on the open market, both for free and requiring payment;

6. F5 premium (paid) training is available in both self directed and instructor-led formats (note that there is not an equivalent self-directed course for every instructor-led class and none of this training is required);
