How do I take an online certification exam via Certiverse?

Online, remote-proctored F5 Certified exams are delivered through Certiverse. Before scheduling your exam, ensure your device meets the requirements for exam delivery and review the standards and Certiverse policies for remote-proctored exams.

2. Download Safe Exam Browser (SEB) from Certiverse:

Now you can schedule and take your exam:

A. Schedule your exam:

Remote-proctored exams are delivered within one week of purchase. You are not reserving a seat for a specific date and time, instead you are opening an appointment that must be completed within 7 days of purchase. (In step 5 of the example below, an exam was purchased on May 29, 2025, and that exam must be taken on or before June 5, 2025.)

Once payment is processed, the exam becomes available immediately, and the one-week countdown begins.

1. Sign in to the Education Services Portal at education.f5.com

2. Go to Certify > Exam Catalog to find the exam you want to take

3. Select Schedule Now to go to the exam page

4. Select Schedule, Reschedule or Cancel an Exam to open the Certiverse scheduling portal

5. Confirm your location from the drop down menu and select Next

Remote-proctored exams have a 1-week window instead of a specific date/time appointment. You must start the exam BEFORE the date and time listed on the scheduling portal. In the example above, the appointment was made on May 29, 2025 so the exam must be taken within 7 days on June 5, 2025.

6. Confirm payment method and select Continue (check the box for Employer Information for Reimbursement if you want a copy of your payment receipt for your employer)

7. Enter your credit card information on the next screen to complete your registration.

Congratulations! You have booked an exam.

You will also receive an email from Certiverse Team confirming your exam purchase, the expiration date/time of your reservation, and a link to your exam.

B. Take your exam:

After paying for your exam and reviewing the system requirements, you can take the exam anytime within 14 days by launching the exam from your Certiverse exam dashboard. 

1. Click on the link in the Certiverse Team confirmation email you received from Certiverse

- OR - sign in to the Education Services Portal, navigate to the exam you want to take, click on the schedule button, and the Certiverse site will open for you.

2. In the Certiverse site, select My Exams to open your exam dashboard

3. Select START

4. Select Open Rosalyn to begin your exam appointment

Your exam session will begin and you can take your exam.
