Continuing Education Credits (CEC) are not related to Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. These are two separate entities that can benefit individuals for completing training.
What are F5 Continuing Education Credits (F5 CEC)?
CEC are specific to the F5 Certified program. Candidates with active F5 Certifications can extend the validity of certifications by earning CEC by completing F5 training and participating in select community programs.
CEC are automatically tracked and applied to F5 Certifications by the F5 Education Services team.
For more information about CEC, please read Continuing Education Credits for the F5 Certified program
What are Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours?
CPE represent the number of hours of instruction for each F5 training course. Instructor-led training course certificates include a note about the number of hours of instruction completed in each course (7 hours per day of instruction).
It is up to each student to submit their own CPE hours to whoever issued their professional certification/status, and it is up to the organization that issued the professional certification/status to accept those hours.
