Summary
This article provides Instructions for how to confirm that the Training Units your company purchased match your expectations. This is written for the person specified as "Technical Contact" on your purchase order for the Training Units.
Overview
A graphic showing the steps of how to take F5 training using Training Units is shown below. The first step, Step A - Confirm Order, is addressed in this article.
CONFIRM ORDER
You, as the Technical Contact, will receive an automated email from LearnF5 with the subject line as follows, "F5 Training Unit KeyCode Distribution Email." This email has important details for administering the Training Units which are secured for your organization so they cannot be spent by unauthorized individuals. A unique KeyCode is also provided in the email, which is required for anyone who wants to redeem training services using Training Units.
First thing, it's recommended that you check to ensure you will receive what you expected. Once you receive the automated email, these are the thing you'll want to confirm:
-
Number of Training Units listed is correct? Check the field: Training Unit Balance.
- Expiration Date -- Training Units typically expire after one year. Check: Your Training Units Will Expire.
-
Technical Contact -- If you're not the right person to administer these Training Units, please respond to let us know at support@mail.education.f5.com.
The next most crucial thing for you to do is to get the people at your organization who want to take training authorized to use your KeyCode.
