Summary: This article will cover the 3 most common reasons students receive an error message that the Training Unit Keycode is invalid when they attempt to make a purchase in LearnF5.
First, your LearnF5 user account must be associated with the Training Unit Keycode before you can spend Training Units. Contact us at support@mail.education.f5.com to verify that your account is properly linked to the Keycode.
Second, your Training Units may be expired. Training Unit Keycodes are issued with an expiration date which is typically one-year after purchase (although some contracts may specify an extended expiration date). Contact us at support@mail.education.f5.com to verify your Training Unit expiration date.
Finally, you may have entered your Training Unit Keycode in the coupon field during checkout. In this case, you will see a message in red text that your Coupon Code is invalid.
Click the blue Proceed to Checkout box instead and you will be able to select Training Unit Keycode as your Payment Method.
Enter your Keycode and click Apply. The shopping cart subtotal and your Training Unit Keycode Balance will be displayed. Click Next to proceed.
Review your purchase details (title, subtotal, payment method). Use the Edit Shopping Cart or Change links to make any changes. When ready to proceed, click Place Order.
If you purchased self-directed training, you can launch it by clicking on the hyperlinked title in the Purchase Summary box on the right side of the screen. Or click Learning, View Your Transcript to open the curriculum from the top-level menu of LearnF5. If you purchased instructor-led training, you will receive email confirmation with a calendar invite for each day of training.
